Bloomberg puts his foot in his mouth
Unless you have been living in a cave like our boy Osama Bin Laden you are well aware that over the course of last weekend New York City dodged a Bullet. A bomb that was crude in nature was supposed to go off in Times Square and fortunately the Individual who assembled it was incapable of putting together the bomb as for starts he bought the wrong fertilizer. It was not the combustible kind that had been used in Oklahoma City. And even more fortunate a local street vendor had noticed the vehicle being left in front of a building in Times Square saw smoke coming out of it and brought it to the attention of local authorities , after he saw smoke coming out of the vehicle. And as is well chronicled a major disaster was averted much to our relief. And as the poltically correct crowd likes to call them a person of Interest was apprehended. Or as I call it in Tony lingo since I am not politically correct the PRIME SUSPECT ! Faisal Shahzad , 30 , was apprehended at Kennedy Airport getting ready to board a plane to Dubai. He had just gotten back recently from Pakistan. And will now be brought before a Federal Magistrate to face Terrorism charges. And by God's grace disaster was averted. Sounds like a good little series of events that will come to a nice conclusion right ? Well I am gonna tell you right now , THAT IS NOT THE STORY !
Our story here begins a little bit before Shahzad was apprehended. And it starts with Bloomberg making a stupid statement that shows his obvious disdain for anyone who might be a tea party member or for that matter an American
It's obviously a tea party member right ? Wrong !

Can you believe the nad of that Pinhead ? I just about hurled when he spit that out of his mouth. And I am sure the CBS correspondent was gleefully eating that up and somehow wanted to tie it to a fan of Sarah Palin or Sean Hannity. But as we well know the prime suspect was in fact a MUSLIM ! Now you think that the news media would have been more enthusiastic about the apprehension of a terrorist. I am sad to say however that is just not the case. The Anti American MSNBC or as I like to call them the H1N1 of cable news was just dissapointed by the events that transpired. By the reaction of some of their correspondents you would have thought that they had just found out there is no Santa Claus or Easter Bunny and that America is in fact a Christian nation !
No less then what I can only assume is someone who hates her country Contessa Brewer was just beside herself with dissapointment when the Terrorist In fact turned out to be Muslim. And to the progressives who might be reading this , THIS IS WHO YOU TRUST FOR YOUR NEWS ?
Oh and by the way Mr. Mayor WTF does healthcare have to do with this ?

My jaw dropped when I heard this little snippet. Now in Bloomberg's case I do have to give him some benefit of the doubt as video showed a white male changing clothes by the vehicle. But the car was parked by the building that Comedy Central resides in and recently South Park from Comedy Central made an episode where they had made fun of the prophet Mohammed. Do you think Terrorist are going to take that lying down ? Of course they're not ! We are only supposed to make fun of Christians right ? And they also tried to kill a Dutch cartoonist who made a political cartoon about Mohammed. And killed a Dutch filmaker a couple of years ago who made a less then complimentary film about Islam. But needless to say the liberal media wanted to point the finger at Tea Party members , Patriots and Christians. I can hear the liberal media sighing heavily , just as they did when they found out Joe Stack the man who flew a plane into an IRS building in Texas was not a Tea Party member.

What is the deal with the media anyway ? Are they willing to go to any length to try and discredit good Americans that they will just hope and pray that an American wants to harm Americans ? How pathetic is that ? So to Mayor Bloomberg your true colors have shown in that Idiotic statement you made. And to Contessa Brewer if you hate your own country so much maybe its time to pick up a Burka and go to Dubai , maybe you will be more comftorable there. I have a feeling you might learn to appreciate your country a little more.

Good reporting. Then there's also that bomb blast that took place in the basement of the World Trade Center in 1993. To the best of my recollection there were no Tea Party activists then.

Terrific hub. I went crazy when all these pundits were deciding that this was the act of a single lone person with an unsophisticated bomb. How upset they all were when it turned out to be a Muslim with ties to the Taliban. I am fed up with all this PC garbage. Obama must have shed a tear ot two. He was probably hoping for another Timothy McVie.
I just can't believe this. Instead of being disappointed that the person was indeed a Muslim terrorist they should see them for who they are and try to do something about it! They should also spend more time being grateful, as you said that by the grace of God, this event was a failure on the Muslim Terrorists part. But of course they're not going to be thanking God for anything because they don't want to acknowledge Him.
Love the title, clear consise and blatantly honest:) The problem people need to acknowledge when worrying about bigotry, racism, etc and being politically correct is that no matter how ugly it is, stereotypes became stereotypes for a reason.

Tony, I hadn't seen the interview. I don't agree with the Tea Party, but to blame them with no proof was just wrong. Political debate is one thing, but to start pointing fingers at everything is wrong. Both sides do it, both should stop.

Actually we have an Al Qaida who supposedly flew planes into towers with a minimal amount of training with sophisticated planning, yet the same organization cannot detonate a car bomb? Only difference was that the US government assisted the 911 attackers or they never could have done it.
And reason was, the Taliban went to Texas in 1997, guests of Unocal oil company who also armed them. When they didn't go for the Afghan pipeline to the Caspian Sea and Halliburton investments, 911 was hatched. Google the phrase: taliban went to texas 1997.
